Yes, it is my because of my personal experience of shopping at Tower Hobbies for RC gear that I need that I repeatedly get great customer service, fast turn-around shipping and gear is delivered to my door before I could even plan a trip to the local hobby shop to buy the same items. So getting it quickly and saving a bunch of money is not a bad thing at all.

I was introduced to the Tower Hobbies website about a year go. I just got an email from them letting me know that, as a Tower Super Saver Club, I saved money on my orders over the past year and let me know the amount I saved.

Being a member of the Tower Super Saver Club gives me savings on my orders at different tiers of how much I am spending (and, yes, of course it drives me to spend a bit more every time I place an order) and if my order is $150 or more, I get free shipping. For example, my recent orders have averaged about $220 - $230. With free shipping and my super saver club discount, that order ends up being around $180. My local hobby shop can't beat those prices and they definitely don't carry the vast number of products that I almost always find in stock at Tower Hobbies.

Only things really missing is the one-on-one contact with the sales associates at the local hobby shops. Getting a chance to pick their brains is always worth spending a bit of money at their stores when something is needed the same day. Sometimes you also need to put your hands on the actual parts to make sure that's just the thing you need. Plus, I am compelled to at least try and support my local business owners.

Anyway, back to Tower Hobbies. They don't have any affiliation program, so clicking a link from Addicted to RC to Tower Hobbies isn't bringing any benefit to Addicted to RC whatsoever. This is just a genuine article to tell you that Tower Hobbies is the place to shop for RC gear, hands-down.

Let's put it this way, the Addicted to RC team had thoughts about selling RC gear online on this very website and there's just no way to do it as good and as inexpensive as Tower Hobbies.
